Russian Tea

Title: Russian Tea

Description:

This year, the Russian Circle is going to hold weekly Russian Teas at the Russian House (located at 101 Talbot, across the street from Hodgdon Hall, which is next door to the Dewick MacPhie dining hall). The first half hour of these teas will be intended for helping those of you who are Russian language students with any questions you might have as well as to give you an opportunity to just come and hang out with us to chat in Russian so that you can practice your Russian conversation/pronunciation skills. At each Tea, there will be native speakers and advanced students of Russian, so you will be in good hands. It'll be a very laid back atmosphere and we'll always have plenty of snacks on hand in case you're hungry from all that studying. If you don't speak Russian and aren't studying it, this is also a good time to drop by and hang out with us as we won't be exclusively speaking Russian. The second half hour of the teas will be intended for socializing and conversation in Russian by more advanced or native speakers. I am hoping that this format of the Russian Teas will help our group bond a bit more, regardless of everyone's Russian language level, as this way there is really something for everyone to participate in on a weekly basis.

I hope you'll check it out! There will be lots of sweets and munchies and, of course, an assortment of teas.
