Title: Update on Senior Alumni Council Elections
Description:
For more information on joining the class of 2009 Tufts University Alumni Council, check out the following site:
http://www.tufts.edu/alumni/n-seniorelection09.html
As previously posted, the senior class has the opportunity to elect four of their peers to serve as “Transitional Members” for a five year term. These valuable alumni-volunteer positions ensure a representative voice from the Class of 2009 within the Tufts Alumni Association, and will:
• Make a significant impact in defining programming that meets the needs of younger alumni
• Expand the role of young alumni leadership
• Promote the Tufts Alumni Association to students and the campus community
• Participate at the semi-annual all-member council meetings held in the fall and spring (if available)
Students may self-nominate to run as a transitional alumni council member in the 2009 elections. Nominations should be submitted by email to seniornomination@tufts.edu
Nomination may be submitted through Monday, December 15, 2008.
For their contact information, inquiries and other questions, contact Jonathan Kaplan in the Office of Alumni Relations, jonathan.kaplan@tufts.edu, x7-5493 or 1-800-843-2586.
